Stowers Ranks #66 on the RER Top 100 Companies

Stowers Ranks #66 on the Rental Equipment Register Top 100 Companies

Stowers Machinery ranked #66 on the Rental Equipment Register (RER) Top 100 Rental Companies. This is an esteemed honor for Stowers Machinery, as this ranking considers every publicly traded and privately-owned company in North America. The total rental sales for this ranking were comprised of the Rental Division, Machine Sales Division (our Heavy Rents fleet), and the Power Systems Division. From 2019 to 2020, Stowers moved from #70 to #66 on the register despite the many challenges that they faced throughout the year due to the pandemic. Stowers Machinery appreciates all those that deliver, service, sell, and manage our rental equipment. This ranking is a testament to our employees and all of their hard work.

The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 certainly made life more challenging in all aspects. The Rental Equipment industry had to learn and adapt as best they could, just like everyone else. Many likely wondered how the pandemic would affect the rental industry; however, like most other industries it was survival of the fittest. In the article addressing the top 100 rental companies in North America and the effects of the pandemic, Tom Showalter of Herc-U-Lift said, “It was not as good as we hoped, but much better than I thought it would be.” The overall assessment from RER is that the industry is in solid shape as 2021 moves forward.
