Caterpillar provides same-as-new warranty on remanufactured oil coolers because they are remanufactured, not just rebuilt. They are completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected to ensure quality and durability.

As mentioned earlier, Cat Reman oil coolers are completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected to ensure quality and durability.

All tube bundles are replaced with new, and new design rubber end sheets are installed to absorb shock and vibration, and reduce thermal stress. Non-metallic baffles are added to eliminate metal-tometal wear.

For added convenience, plate-type oil cooler groups include all needed gaskets, seals and dividers.

TESTING ASSURES EXTENDED COOLING SYSTEM LIFE

Cat Reman oil coolers meet rigorous factory specifications for reuseability, ensuring optimum performance. Tests for leakage ensure proper operation while all new copper tube bundles assure correct flow and cooling capability. All the latest design improvements are incorporated to ensure same-as-new performance.

CORE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA HELPS CUT COSTS

Besides the low price, our simple set of core acceptance criteria provides a quick determination of core credit. Oil cooler cores with an acceptable Caterpillar part number must not be cracked or broken (no salvage welding), must be complete and fully assembled, and must display no non-operational damage such as mishandling, excessive rust, corrosion or pitting.
We make a visual inspection to give you a quick ruling on core condition and core credit, so there’s no waiting or guessing about the cost of your Cat Reman oil cooler.

Remember to return your Cat oil cooler core in its original carton.
