Stowers Machinery uses its system of overnight shuttle trucks and a network of parts drop boxes to provide you the convenience of parts delivery throughout our service area. Read more to learn how parts delivery from Stowers can save you time and keep your projects on schedule.
HOW CAN OUR SHUTTLE NETWORK SAVE YOU TIME?
Our trucks move parts between our stores on most weeknights to enable us to serve you better. Along each of the parts shuttle routes, we’ve placed locked drop boxes within a few minutes’ drive of the primary route. When you want to save time by having parts delivered to a location near you instead of picking them up at our store, ask your Stowers parts counter sales representative to deliver your parts to one of our convenient drop box locations. We can give you instructions about how to access the locked box to retrieve your parts.
WHAT CAN BE DELIVERED TO A DROP BOX?
Generally, parts that can be delivered to a drop box are limited by the size of the drop box (which varies from location to location) and the weight of individual packages (for the safety of the driver who must unload them). Your Stowers parts counter sales representative can help you determine whether the components of an individual parts order can be delivered to one of our drop boxes.
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ITEMS LEFT IN DROP BOXES
Our parts delivery service is offered strictly as a convenience to our customers. Stowers Machinery is not responsible for any loss of, or damage to, any items after they are delivered to a drop box location.
MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS FOR USING A DROP BOX
There is no minimum size order required to have your parts delivered to you using one of our parts drop boxes.
SENDING ITEMS TO STOWERS
From time to time, you may need to send items to Stowers. Using our drop box network, we may be able to make that process convenient for you as well. If you need to send worn cores, oil samples, or parts returns to one of our stores, you may be able to place them in a drop box to be picked up by our parts shuttle driver. You will not be charged a pick-up fee for sending items to one of our stores by placing it in one of our drop boxes. Ask your Stowers parts counter sales representative to help you determine whether your item is eligible for pickup at one of our drop boxes.
DELIVERY FEES
The fee for delivering your parts order to a drop box is just $35 per drop and includes all the orders placed in the drop box during the same delivery. The delivery fee covers the cost of transporting parts from our store to the drop box but does not include the cost of bringing parts from the source to our store. Any special freight or handling charges associated with transporting parts from the source will be billed to you as a separate line item on your invoice from Stowers.
PAYING FOR PARTS DELIVERED TO A DROP BOX
Our parts shuttle drivers do not carry cash and cannot accept payments. Please arrange for payment of your parts order with your Stowers parts counter sales representative when placing your order.
