Attention! Heavy Equipment Service Techs

JOB SUMMARY

Our service technicians, perform maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of machines from the entire Caterpillar product line. In this job, you will inspect machines, determine whether parts can be reused, and develop parts and material lists as needed. Also, you will use your knowledge of test equipment and repair procedures to make repair decisions and set up jobs. Your supervisor is there to help you, but you will perform many of your duties independently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, you should have a high school diploma (or GED) and a valid driver’s license. You must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, a physical exam, and a drug screening. We also prefer that you have two or three years of experience working as a heavy equipment service technician.

As a Stowers service technician, you will need analytical skills to troubleshoot equipment and  writing skills to prepare service reports. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are required for effective communication and interaction with your coworkers and our customers.
