Stowers Rents is Genie's preferred re-rental source for Caterpillar dealers throughout North America. Our dealer re-rental program is designed for dealers whose customers have short- to medium-term needs for large boom lifts that are not available in the dealer's regular inventory. By using our inventory, dealers can serve their customers' needs while avoiding large capital expenditures for rental fleet equipment that may have extremely low utilization aside from the immediate customer need

HOW TO SET UP A RENTAL THROUGH THE DEALER RE-RENTAL PROGRAM

When you have a customer need and would like to utilize boom lifts from Stowers' Dealer Re-Rental Program, you'll be asked to follow the steps shown below:

  • Request equipment from our Dealer Re-Rental Program Coordinator.
  • Give your customer's name, account number, and delivery address to our Program Coordinator.
  • Receive your rental quote, shipping quote, and estimated delivery time from Program Coordinator.
  • Confirm rent approval from customer and issue a purchase order to our Program Coordinator.
  • Receive your rental agreement number from our Program Coordinator.
  • Sign your rental agreement and return it to our Program Coordinator.
  • Follow the progress of the rental, and coordinate between your customer and our Program Coordinator as needed.


DEALER RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE END OF THE RE-RENTAL PERIOD

After the re-rental period ends, you'll be asked to follow the procedure shown below:

  • Forward the request from your customer to call off the rental to our Program Coordinator when the request is received by you.
  • Receive the returned equipment at one of your branch store locations, when appropriate, as planned by you and our Program Coordinator.
  • Complete the check-in inspection report, and take four pictures of the returned equipment (one from each side or angle).
  • Clean, wash, and fuel the returned equipment.
  • Coordinate any needed repair work and/or preventive maintenance services with our Program Coordinator.
  • Make any repairs or perform any preventive maintenance services that are due, and forward all records (including pictures) to our Program Coordinator.
  • Keep equipment at local branch/dealer location until next rent or until shipped to different location.
  • Store the returned equipment at your branch location until the next rental or shipping request from Stowers.
