| STANDARD FLUID FILTERS Cat standard fluid filters are designed to maintain system cleanliness and are manufactured to meet the most demanding specifications, providing increased performance and lower costs. IMPROVED FILTRATION FOR A CLEANER ENGINE Two new oil filters increase contamination control performance providing for a much cleaner running engine lubrication system. The Cat 1R-1807 and 1R-1808 Advanced Efficiency Engine Oil Filters contain an improved high-efficiency filter media to accumulate dirt more quickly while maintaining excellent dirt holding capacity. They offer better filtration efficiency than standard oil filters, improved engine cleanliness, and component life. NEGLIGIBLE IMPACT ON DIRT HOLDING CAPACITY To increase contamination control capability, the Cat Advanced Efficiency Engine Oil Filter combines improved filtration efficiency, excellent dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop characteristics. The improved filtration efficiency of the 1R-1807 and 1R-1808 filters over the corresponding standard efficiency filters results in less wear on oil-lubricated engine parts. Further, the condition of the oil as determined by S-O-S Analysis, and not filter capacity, is the major factor in determining the recommended oil change interval.
