HOW TO GET YOUR FREE COPY OF SPECSIZER If you are a current user of SpecSizer, you should receive a prompt when using the software to auto-update to the latest version. If you do not already have SpecSizer software installed, you may request a free download by clicking the ELECTRIC POWER SPECSIZER SOFTWARE ORDER FORM link at the right. You will then be contacted by the staff at Caterpillar and provided with a link to download the software, after which you can install it and begin using it immediately. KNOWN PROBLEM WITH SPECSIZER INSTALLATION There is a known issue you may encounter when trying to install SpecSizer. It is not uncommone to encounter the error message "Microsoft SQL Server didn't load correctly" during the installation. Often, this error is a result of the fact that MSXML Core Services 6.0 Service Pack 2 has already been installed on your computer. One of our customers has offered information that the workaround for this error can be found on the Microsoft Knowledge Base website at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968749.
